Description The travel experience is one of the most interesting and performative forms of knowledge and approach to the themes of architecture, both historical and contemporary, combined with those of the landscape, the arts, the cultures of the territories and the flavours. This thesis theme is aimed at forming an editorial series entitled WEEKEND AND GRAND TOUR composed of a series of architecture guides designed on the great beauty of the Italian cultural, naturalistic and archaeological heritage. These are "narrative theses" that report the experience of the trip to Italy structured for short and intense periods (precisely the span of a weekend), organized in a homogeneous topography, circumscribed and capable of being experienced individually or in a group and based on different targets of economic commitment. The graduating student will have to choose a territorial context, get to know it deeply and intensely, identify its specificities and beauties that characterize it, in addition to the accommodation facilities and the food system on which the flavors of the places and the food and wine offer are based.
The final result will consist of an editorial product, a hard-copy architecture guide, with great iconographic and textual care, which will constitute a verifiable synthesis of an in-depth geographical and cultural research. The contribution of photography will be very important, which must be original and highly communicative. In short, a guide for cultural grand tourists with strong artistic overtones.
