Halls of residences

If you live far from Politecnico or if you are a foreign student studying in Pollitecnico and you look for an accommodation to attend your classes, you can stay in one of the public halls of residences managed by Ente per il Diritto allo Studio Universitario (EDISU);

Rooms are assigned through a competition according to the income and academic merit.

Basically the recipients of the scholarship are awarded a bed in a single or double room in one of EDISU’s halls of residences; If there are no more places available, the scholarship offers a financial aid that has the same value as a place in the halls of residences (in order to obtain this financial aid students must hold a regular rental contract).

You can also contact Residenza Carlo Mollino and Residenza Cesare Codegone, which are Politecnico’s property but are managed by an external agent that sets the prices and any possible reduction due to specific circumstances.

Another residence worthy of notice is Collegio Universitario Renato Einaudi whose Board of Governors includes Politecnico representatives as Institutional Founder.

The places available in the Collegio are assigned through a ranking based on academic merit and the place is confirmed over the academic years according to specific requirements based on academic merit; also in this case there are scholarships and reductions available:

Moreover, Politecnico di Torino and some operators of the local territory adopted agreements together in order to provide accommodation to Politecnico international students.

Following these agreements, for a limited period of time students who come from other countries can benefit from a priority booking of some accommodation managed by the single operators while the other students can access the accommodation freely and consult the offers published on the websites. There are also two public organizations operating in the local territory whose mission is focused on the university sector. They publish and update lists of places available for university students:

Osservatorio Regionale per l’Università e il Diritto allo studio universitario and Study in Torino.
