Master's degree programmes 2021 - 2022
(students with italian degree)
ENROLMENT IN SECOND SEMESTER
Admissions a.y. 2021/22
Applications for admission to a Master's degree programme in second semester must be submitted by the deadlines. Please note that applications for enrolment in first semester are also valid for second semester, because they last one academic year.
Students who enrol in second semester have 10 days from the date of enrolment to complete their Personal Study Plan and Annual Personal Study Plan.
Who can apply for admission in second semester?
Applicants from Politecnico di Torino
If you do not meet the requirements to advance your Master’s courses, but you manage to get your Bachelor’s degree in December or March, you can enrol in the Master’s degree programme you have chosen in second semester. This type of enrolment allows you to include in your APSP:
  • first-year courses offered in first semester (only if they are courses with video lectures - these courses are identified with a green video camera in the course catalogue);
  • first-year courses offered in second semester;
  • second-year courses offered in second semester.
How to access second-semester classes while your enrolment is still pending
Applicants from Politecnico di Torino
If you are going to graduate in March and you are admitted to a Master's degree programme, you will see a new section (COURSES/Insegnamenti) on your Apply@polito personal page. From this section, you can choose the courses you want to take and you will visualize the corresponding class timetables and study materials, although you are still waiting to complete the enrolment process.
We remind you that in this section you will find only your Master's first-year courses offered in second semester. You will be able to add second-year courses (offered in second semester) to your Peronal Study Plan / Annual only after completing the enrolment process.
After selecting your courses on your Apply@polito personal page, they will be displayed in the OTHER COURSES (Altri corsi) section of your personal page of the Teaching Portal (below the Annual Personal Study Plan).
IMPORTANT: Selecting your courses on the Apply@polito platform is NOT equivalent to completing your Annual Personal Study Plan. You must enrol in the programme and create your Annual Personal Study Plan in order to be able to attend your courses and take the exams.
Applicants from other Universities
If you get your Bachelor’s degree after the deadline for enrolment in first semester, you can enrol in the Master’s degree programme you have chosen in second semester. This type of enrolment allows you to include in your APSP:
  • first-year courses offered in first semester (only if they are courses with video lectures - these courses are identified with a green video camera in the course catalogue);
  • first-year courses offered in second semester;
  • second-year courses offered in second semester.
Students who enrol in a new Master’s degree programme in second semester after withdrawing from studies
If you withdraw from a Polito Master’s degree programme after the deadline for enrolment in first semester, you will be able to enrol in a new Master's degree programme in second semester provided that you meet the corresponding deadlines.
If you withdraw before the deadline for the second instalment of your tuition fees, you are not required to pay it. You will pay the two instalments due for your new Master’s degree programme (first and second instalment – see Tuition Fee Guide a.y. 2021/22). The first instalment cannot be refunded under any circumstances.
