Language courses
The Language Centre offers basic language courses for students who have been shortlisted for ERASMUS+ and Extra-UE/NON ERASMUS+ mobility projects. 
The language courses were available online for the students who took part in the Outgoing Mobility Programme 2022/23 (Bando Unico Mobilità 2022/23). 
Foreign language level test
The Language Centre is not an examination board and does not issue certificates of competence in foreign languages.
If the host university requires you to prove your language knowledge, you can:
 
  • take a language level test and request a letter for the host university which reports your CEFR level that you scored in the language test. The level tests are available for French, German, Portuguese, Spanish and English, both online and in person.
  • request a letter for your host university which specifies that you are registered for a basic language course. This is possible only if you have chosen to attend a basic language course in your mobility contract. Please note that this letter is not a certificate of attendance.
This service will be resumed after the summer break (September 2022).
How to request the letter reporting your CEFR levelOnline test - every Tuesday from 14.30 to 15.30 The test will be proctored through the CLA Virtual Classroom. You are allowed to take this level test one time per week. To take the test, please contact us through the Ticketing support system (Foreign language learning - Other languages) and book an appointment. If you take the level test without booking an appointment, your score will not be valid.
In-person test - every Wednesday from 14.30 to 15.30 The test will be proctored by the CLA staff. You are allowed to take this level test one time per week. To take the test, please contact us through the Ticketing support system (Foreign language learning - Other languages) and book an appointment until the day before the test (i.e. every Tuesday until 23.59).
