Elective courses for undergraduates registered on the first year
The list of optional courses to obtain free choice ECTS credits offered by Politecnico di Torino is published for the first level Engineering degree courses (three-year degrees under the category D.M. 270/2004) under “Offerta Formativa” for Engineering degree courses in the table named Tabella Crediti liberi del primo anno.
Students can choose from the available courses, creating their own list of preferences. At the end of 1st term exam session a ranking list is prepared for the allocation of students for each elective course, considering students’ needs and type of studies.
Deadlines and procedures, as well as criteria for ranking list elaboration and course allocation, will be specified on Elective Courses Regulation for the first year of Engineering (2013/2014).
Elective courses start two weeks after the beginning of the 2nd semester and last 12 weeks.
Students enrolled in 2013/2014 academic year who have not passed the Analisi Matematica I examination yet have to deal with the remedial class instead of the optional course.
