Preparing to IELTS
First level students, enrolling on first year
All students enrolling for the first time who are not exempted from IELTS, shall do the English language level test. After receiving the results, students will be divided in three groups:
- those whose level is already sufficient to pass the IELTS exam with the minimum score, can register for taking the exam;
- those with an intermediate level will have to attend a course. This kind of course is conducted twice a year, and the schedule will appear on the general courses timetable. Students shall register from their personal page. At the end of the course, an evaluation test will establish if the student is ready for doing IELTS test. Then, registration for IELTS exams is a free choice of the student;
- those with a very low level will receive suggestions and tutoring by CLA; they will have to attend the course in a subsequent didactic period.
Students enrolling from second year on
Students enrolling from second year on, who haven’t passed IELTS exam yet, can still attend English language courses with first year students. For registration check CLA website in September.
