First year’s students of a Bachelor
of Science Engineering degree course that after the first semester did not pass
the Mathematical Analysis I examination, have to follow the remedial course in
the second semester. This course replaces the optional course.
Students, whether they pass the
Mathematical Analysis I examination or not, must have obtained by the end of
the autumnal examination session a minimum of 28 credits among the core
subjects.
The core subjects are all the
courses of the first year (Mathematical Analysis I, Chemistry, Informatics,
Physics I, Geometry), except for the English Language and the free ECTS of the
first year.
This is valid for all the degree
courses except for the degree course in Technology and International Business ( Ingegneria della Produzione Industriale) for which core subjects are all the courses except for the foreign languages
ones.
Remember that students of Technology
and International Business who did not obtain the 28 credits cannot go abroad
to attend the second year at the partner University.
Students who have a lack of training
that within the winter examination session of the second year obtain the 28
among the core subjects can attend the courses of the second semester of the
second year, following the precedence rules.
Students who correctly compiled
their study load at the beginning of the academic year, will have their study
loan automatically uploaded with the subjects of the second semester.
As a
result, part-time students can ask for a conversion of their study loan form
part-time to full time within 11th March 2016.
Upon request students can add
Mathematical Analysis II and Physics II to their study loan respecting the
maximum limit for the study load. This opportunity is for students who passed Mathematical
Analysis I (to insert Mathematical Analysis II) and for students who passed
Physics I, and acquired at least 40 credits ( to insert Physics II).
These students can access the
videotaped lessons for both the subjects after they have uploaded their study
load. They can also have a tutorship for Mathematical Analysis II provided by part
time collaborations students.
Modalities and deadlines to put
these subjects in the study load will be given to students by email.
Study load updating in view of the Internal Transfer:
Students who have a lack of training
that within the winter examination session of the second year obtained the 28
credits among the core subjects and want to change the degree course, can ask
to insert in their study load the courses of the second semester of the degree
course they want to transfer to, after they have put Mathematical Analysis II
and Physics II (following the precedence rules for the study load and
respecting the limit of credits that can be put in it).
Remember that for this academic year
students remain enrolled to their actual degree course because the request for
the Internal Transfer must be to be made at the beginning of the new academic
year.
Students who want to ask for the
Internal Transfer to the Technology and International Business (Ingegneria della Produzione Industriale) degree course,
can insert in their study load, the exams of the 3rd year, because
the 2nd year is at the partner University and they will be able to
go abroad the year after the Internal Transfer.
For the Internal Transfer, all the
information are on the website, in the “
Segreteria Online” section: it’s hereby clarify that
rules related to transfer for next academic year (2016/2017) has not been approved
yet, and they can change. When they are available, we will provide all updates on Portale della
Didattica website.
Study load updating after an Internal Transfer:
We inform students that it is possible
to insert second and third year courses only if students have obtained the 28
credits in the core subjects (Mathematical Analysis I, Chemistry, Informatics,
Physics I, Geometry) or at least they
have to obtain 40 credits in the subjects of their degree course (languages
are not included).
Students who want to transfer to the
Technology and International Business (Ingegneria della Produzione Industriale) degree course, can insert exams of
the 3rd year only if they have the requirements explained above,
because the 2nd year is at the partner University and they will be
able to go abroad the year after the Internal Transfer.
For the Internal Transfer, all the
information are on the website, in the “
Segreteria Online” section.
