Politecnico di Torino, headed by the Rector, placed in Corso Duca degli Abruzzi, 24 - 10129 Torino, owns a student database.  

The Officer in charge of personal data processing is the head of Area Gestione Didattica. 

Such data are the following: 

• personal data; 
• previous study career data, given at the moment of enrolment;     
• university career in Politecnico di Torino (study plans, exams passed, titles earned); 
• fees payments; 
• self-certifications about financial condition presented for fees reduction; 
• scholarships earned from Politecnico, EDISU or other authorities;
• part-time collaborations at Politecnico di Torino;
• sanctions;
• disability declarations, if presented. 

These data are used inside Politecnico di Torino only for its functions: for this reason, data are processed by the different structures inside the Athenaeum to perform their activity without reporting to the students. 
Data can be communicated outside Politecnico only in the following cases: 

• when requested by public authorities for institutional issues (for example Ministero dell'Istruzione, dell'Università e della Ricerca, l'Anagrafe Nazionale degli Studenti, Ministero delle Finanze, Ministero degli Affari Esteri, Ente Regionale per il Diritto allo studio universitario, Istat, Agenzia Nazionale per la Valutazione dell’Università e della Ricerca e Osservatorio Regionale per l'Università e per il diritto allo studio Universitario); 
• when requested by Judicial Authority. 

Registering for final exam students will be asked to sign the consent for data processing to authorities for job offering or cultural activities. 
Completing a Master application form (issued with authorities outside Politecnico), students will be asked to sign the consent for data processing for educational sustain initiatives. 

Students have the right to know that Politecnico has data about themselves, asking to the Area Gestione Didattica Officer in charge: you can ask for their destruction, block, or modification, if allowed.
