What to do in
case of exemption from the admission test
If you hold a
Bachelor’s degree awarded by Politecnico di Torino, you shall send the request
for Career credit recognition, through the “Apply” section available on your
personal page of the Teaching Portal. You shall use the student number of your
previous career at Politecnico.
If you hold a Bachelor’s degree awarded by another
university, you shall send the request for Career credit recognition, through
the
Apply procedure, available on the website of Politecnico. There you
shall insert the details of your previous career. You will be required to pay a
fixed fee of 100 Euro. This amount of money will be
deducted from your tuition fees in case of subsequent enrolment; otherwise, if
you decide not to enrol, this fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.
The payment methods
are illustrated in the Fee Guide.
The deadline for
requesting the Career credit recognition is
23rd September 2016.
The Programme academic
coordinator (refrenete cds) will evaluate your previous
academic records and
possibly recognize previous credits
.
The results of the evaluation will be
available through the Apply page, under the section “VALUTAZIONI”/”EVALUATIONS”.
After the
evaluation has been carried out, you will be able to accept the admission decision
and to proceed with on-line enrolment. You will have to pay the first
instalment of tuition fees (the amount due is a fixed fee and it is the same
for all candidates, both for those choosing part-time enrolment, and for those
enrolling as full-time students). In case of part-time enrolment, the balance
of the tuition fees for the year will be due at the moment of the definition
of the Personal study Plan/Annual Personal Study Plan.
You will be
assigned a student number by the system
which will also propose an appointment for you to go to the Office of Student
Services.
The appointment
can be modified.
On the day of
the appointment, you will have to go to the Office of Student Services with the
personal identification document that you used during the enrolment process on
the Apply section. You should also bring your original English language
certificates, if you have any.
Upon completion
of the necessary verifications, the
Office of Student Services will give you your smart card.
Lastly, you will have to define your Personal Study Plan and fill in
your Annual Personal Study Plan.
This operation needs to be done within 10 days from the date of
enrolment.
If you hold a university qualification of the same or lower level
compared to the degree programme for which you have applied, and you choose to enrol as a full-time student,
you will not be able to apply for fee reduction.
If you choose part-time enrolment,
you are required to pay a fixed fee and a variable fee depending on the number
of credits you intend to purchase. The payment shall take place at the end of the procedure for the definition
of the Personal Study Plan/Annual Personal Study Plan.
