The Double degree
Several initiatives in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme and other extra-EU mobility programmes aim at achieving the most ambitious goal: the attainment of a double qualification (for instance, a degree in Engineering or Architecture from Politecnico di Torino plus the equivalent qualification awarded by another foreign university located in the EU or in extra-EU countries), through a shared course of study, which takes place partially in one university and partially in the other.

If you are interested in this opportunity, in the calls for application you can find specific information on the institutions which have signed Double degree agreements with Politecnico di Torino.

Double degree agreements entail a period of stay at the partner university, ranging from a minimum of one academic year to a maximum of two. The most common structure is one year of study abroad, plus one semester for writing the thesis (totally about 18 months abroad); therefore, the attainment of the double degree requires a one-semester extension in the duration of studies.

If you go abroad to study at a European or extra-European university for the attainment of the double degree, you can benefit from a scholarship for a maximum  of 18 months.
