AlmaLaurea is an interuniversity consortium supported
by the Ministry of Education, University and Research. It aims at connecting
graduates and companies and it is the focal point for those (scholars, workers,
etc.) who deal with university, employment and youth at various levels.
Politecnico and AlmaLaurea encourage all graduates to
complete an on-line questionnaire, with a double objective:
- gather students’
evaluations on the university career they are about to complete, in order to
monitor the courses of study and analyze features and performances of graduates,
with an eye to improving the university educational offer. The results of this
research work are available on the AlmaLaurea website, in the area dedicated to
universities;
- obtain, through
the questionnaire, the necessary information for the drafting of the Curriculm
Vitae, in order to help students enter the world of work; moreover, if they
want to take advantage of this opportunity, AlmaLaurea will make their data
available to companies that might request them.
Graduands who intend to register for the Final Examination are required to fill in the AlmaLaurea questionnaire, with the aim
of gathering statistical data.
On the contrary, it is up to students to decide
whether to make their curriculum visible in the AlmaLaurea database: in the
last page of the questionnaire they will be asked whether they want to make
their curriculum vitae available to companies and other institutions which might be
interested in their profiles, in order to approach the word of work and gain
professional experience.
If students do not wish to benefit from the AlmaLaurea
services, it will be sufficient to express it while filling in the on-line questionnaire.
MASTER’S GRADUANDS must log into
thier AlmaLaurea profile, using the access credentials they received when they
registered for the Bachelor’s degree.
From the section “I miei titoli”, they need to click
on “Aggiungi titoli di studio” (select “NON certificato/ NOT certified”) and they will be
able to insert the information on the Master’s degree they are about to complete.
It will then become possible to move on to the
questionnaire and decide whether to authorize the personal data
publication or not.
In order to retrieve the credentials obtained for the Bachelor’s degree in
case of loss, send a request to AlmaLaurea: http://www.almalaurea.it/cgi-bin/lau/pwd_recovery.pm
Once the
procedure has been completed, data will be immediately visible to those who
make request for it to AlmaLaurea. After graduation, Politecnico will send
AlmaLaurea the names of all graduates and certify the university information
contained in the curricula.
