Thesis application and approval of the thesis topic
Thesis application and approval of the thesis topic
The thesis application contains the general topic of your  thesis. It can be submitted If your Annual Personal Study Plan includes the thesis credits.

The Thesis application must be submitted following the online procedure (from the section “Tesi/Thesis”, available on your personal page of the Teaching Portal) within the deadlines illustrated in the Summary of deadlines.

When you submit your thesis application, your Supervisor will receive a message. When your Supervisor approves your request,  you will receive a confirmation message by e-mail.

Information  on  insurance coverage for students who do their thesis project in a private company is available in the section named “Tesi in azienda”/“Thesis project in a private company”.

Thesis final title will be declared during Thesis conclusion confirmation.

Once the thesis application has been approved by the Supervisor, it does not lose its validity. This means it can be used also for graduation periods that follow the one for which the application was confirmed.

Before you start writing your thesis, you are required to read the Intellectual and Industrial Property Regulations of Politecnico di Torino (available under the “Support Materials” section). For inquiries about Intellectual and Industrial Property you can send an e-mail to: brevetti.spinoff@polito.it
