When you prepare your Annual Personal Study Plan (APSP), you are required to include - before anything else - the courses that were already on your APSP in previous years, for which you have not passed the exam yet, or, your grade has not been registered yet. These courses are called incomplete courses (with exam still pending) and are marked in blue by the system. They need to be added to the APSP before any new course that you want  to insert for the first time.
As a general rule, the APSP must respect the limits imposed by the type of enrolment you have chosen: 80 credits for full-time enrolment and 40 credits for part-time enrolment. These limits can be exceeded if you add other “overbooking courses” (marked in red) to your APSP.

You are allowed to do this overbooking operation in order to take into account:

• other exams that you will take in the Autumn session (September);
• exams that you have already passed but have not been registered yet (for example exams taken abroad during a mobility project);
• internships and/or foreign languages and/or external learning activities taken and recorded by 31^st December 2017.    

At a later stage, when you pass the above mentioned exams (within the Autumn session), and after the internships, and/or foreign languages, and/or external learning activities are recorded (by 31/12/2017), they will be removed from your APSP, thus “releasing space” for new credits . The “overbooking courses” will now enter into the APSP, following the order in which they had been inserted. This adjustment period normally ends a few weeks after the end of the September examination session (except for internships ,foreign languages and external learning activities).

In this example, there are  two courses marked in red that exceed the limit of 80 credits.
If you pass the Termofluidodimanica exam by September, a space corresponding to 10 credits will be released in your APSP. This will allow the Energetica e fonti rinnovabili course to enter into the APSP for the new academic year.
Any exam that you might pass in other examination sessions (belonging to the new academic year) will not contribute to “unblock” further credits. Therefore the remaining overbooking exams will not enter into your APSP.
Therefore, when you make your APSP, you must pay attention and add  your courses following a priority order.
In particular, if you are approaching the end of your studies, you must carefully check in which semester your overbooking courses are offered, in order to be able to complete your studies before the first available Graduation period. 
Please note that, on your personal page of the Teaching Portal, you will not see your overbooking courses (since they remain outside your APSP). Therefore you will not be able to take and register those exams for the entire academic year.
