Free choice credits
In the curriculum of your degree programme there are some optional courses that you can choose. They are called “free choice credits”. 
You can choose your free choice credits from the university course catalogue or substitute them with an internship (if this is provided for by your degree programme). The rules on how to include an internship in your Personal Study Plan, how to begin the process for an internship and obtain the recognition of your internship credits are available in the curriculum of your degree programme and on the website of the Office of Career Services.  
You can also request the recognition of other learning activities undertaken both at Politecnico or outside the university, with the  recognition of other learning activities undertaken both at Politecnico or outside the university.
Course offered by the National Music Conservatory “G. Verdi”In substitution for the Optional courses included in the catalogue of free choice credits it is possible to choose maximum two courses among the following courses offered by the  National Music Conservatory “G. Verdi”: “Teoria e tecnica del segnale audio digitale”, “Processi musicali automatici e interattivi” “Sound & Sonic Interaction Design” and "Tecniche di registrazione e postproduzione audio”.         
These courses are capped at 10 students who will be chosen on the basis of their academic achievement.
