Credit Transfer for Bachelor's degree programmes
If you already have a Bachelor’s degree and you want to request the evaluation of your previous academic records for admission to another Bachelor’s degree programme, check on Apply@polito if you need to take the admission test or if you are exempted from taking it. This depends on the type of degree you have got.
If you have a university degree included among those listed in Annex D to the Call for applications for admissions to the Bachelor’s degree programmes of the Engineering area, you are exempted from taking the admission test. 
If you don't have a degree included in the list of Annex D, you need to register for the admission test before the deadlines illustrated in the Call for applications admissions to the Bachelor’s degree programme of the Engineering area.
For admissions to Ingegneria della Produzione Industriale degree, the admission test is compulsory.  
  • If you have a Bachelor’s degree awarded by Politecnico di Torino, apply for admission from the Apply@polito portlet, available on your personal page of the Teaching Portal – Online Services tab (use the last student number you had at Polito).
  • If you have a Bachelor’s degree awarded by another university, apply for admission through the Apply@polito platform, available on Politecnico website. You need to enter information on your previous academic studies.
 Procedure
    • For students who must take the admission test
If you pass the admission test and are on the ranking list for admission to a Bachelor’s degree programme, you must confirm that you actually want to enrol at Politecnico from your Apply@polito personal page. You must pay the first instalment of your tuition fees by the deadlines (see art.12 of the Call for applications for admissions. You must also choose the Bachelor’s degree programme you want to enrol in (art. 4 of the Call for applications).
After confirming your intention to enrol at Politecnico, your previous academic records are sent to the Academic Advisor of your Bachelor’s degree programme, who will decide if Politecnico di Torino can recognize the credits you earned during your previous academic path.
    • For students who are exempted from taking the admission test
You are required to pay a fee (100 €) for the evaluation of your previous academic records. This fee will be deducted from your tuition fees when you enrol at Politecnico but cannot be refunded if you eventually decide not to entol at Politecnico.

The deadline for submitting your credit transfer application is 27th September 2018
When  you apply for credit transfer, your previous academic records are sent to the Academic Advisor of your Bachelor’s degree programme, who will decide if Politecnico di Torino can recognize the credits you earned during your previous academic path.
You can check the result of this evaluation in the section named Valutazioni/Evaluations available on your Apply@polito personal page.
 Accepting the credit transfer resolution and following enrollment
You can accept or reject your credit transfer resolution until the day you enrol. You will NO longer be able to modify your choice after you enrol.

In order to accept the credit transfer you must:
  • read and accept the evalutaion;
  • enrol online;
  • create your Personal Study Plan/ Annual Personal Study Plan within 10 days of the date of enrolment.
At the end of this procedure you will automatically get your student number (matricola) and an appointment with the Office of Student Services (the date can be modified on your personal page, portlet Modulistica) for the verification of your admission documents and the delivery of your Smart Card. 
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
If you already have a Bachelor’s  degree and you enrol as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s degree programme at Politecnico di Torino, you cannot apply for tuition fee reduction (art. 28 of the Tuition Fee Guide 2019/20).
 Creating your Personal Study Plan / Annual Personal Study Plan   
You can include your second and third year courses in your APSP: 
  • if you have been recognized at least 28 credits in the core subjects: Mathematical Analysis I (MAT/05), Chemistry ( CHIM/07), Computer Science (ING-INF/05) Physics I  (FIS/01), Linear Algebra and Geometry (MAT/03 – MAT/08) 
                 or
  • if you have been recognized 40 credits in any subject (excluding the English language exam).
In any case you must add your first-year incomplete courses before any other course. 
If you have any unfulfilled academic requirements, you are allowed to include only your first-year courses in your APSP. 
You can also include your first-year free choice credits in your APSP. If you are recognized the credits of Mathematical Analysis I or if you pass it at Politecnico by the winter examination session, you will be able to choose an optional course (free choice credits).
