Prospective students applying for a Master’s degree programme at Politecnico di Torino must have an English language certificate (CEFR – B2 level).
This is an admission requirement. If you do not meet this admission requirement, you will not be able to enrol at Politecnico.

During a transitional period, Politecnico di Torino accepts the IELTS 5.0 certificate or the certificates listed in the tableCertificates accepted or exemptions in substitution for IELTS at Politecnico di Torino – transitional  as a way to assess a student’s knowledge of English (B2 level).
These transitional rules are applicable to your case if: 
  • you have an Italian Bachelor’s degree and you apply for admission to a  Master’s degree programme up to y. 2021/22;
  • you have a non-Italian Bachelor’s degree or you are an incoming mobility student participating in a Double degree programme and you apply for admission to a Master’s degree programme in a.y. 2019/20

    • the ticketing service, available from your personal page of the Teaching Portal (TICKET tab)
    • the office front desk, open Monday to Friday:  8.30 - 12.00 (From 3rd February 2020 the opening time will be as follows: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 9.00 - 12.30; Wednesday 12.30 - 15.30).
