The order of preference for all the courses delivered in the first semester and in the second semester subject to assignment by merit must be expressed during the definition of personal study plan/annual personal study plan within the deadline indicated in the academic calendar and below reported:
from the opening of the PSP/APSP to 21st September 2020 - merit ranking
Second phase of assignment
Students who, for whatever reason, have not indicated the preference order of the Merit-based PoliTo course allocations will be given the opportunity, through a second phase, to indicate their preference among the courses with available seats.
It is necessary to act through the procedure of change of personal study plan / annual personal study plan in the time frame from 10.00 a.m. of 9th September to 11.59 p.m. of 1st October 2020.
At the end of this period the merit ranking will be drawn up and the course assigned will be included in the personal study plan and annual personal study plan.
EXCEPTION: DESIGN WORKSHOPS (Workshop I - Workshop II) for which there are different assignment modes and deadlines, which are listed in a special section on this page.

University catalogue: free choice courses subject to merit ranking from table 1/2 shown in the curriculum.

______________________________________________________________________________________
Number of semesters from first enrolment in the university system
The number of semesters is calculated starting from the first enrolment in the university system. The score is calculated taking into account only those exams that were recognized and validated by Politecnico di Torino.
In order to allocate all courses both in the first and in the second semester, the calculation of the merit score is based on the exams passed within the July 2020 examination session.
How to express your order of preference
Assignment by merit
Upon completion of your PSP/APSP, you will be redirected to a new page. From this page you can express your preferences only for the courses which have a generic code in your APSP.
You can establish the order of preference using the arrows or dragging and dropping the courses names, as illustrated in picture no.1.
You can repeat this procedure until the closure of the time frame dedicated to the definition of the Annual Personal Study Plan.
DESIGN WORKSHOPS
Workshop I – Workshop II
Students who have inserted in the APSP the codes 05EGGPN Workshop I o 04EGHPN Workshop II, will be able to choose among the workshops suggested by their degree programme.
You cannot attend the two workshops 05EGGPN Workshop I or 04EGHPN Workshop II in the same academic year.
Please note that Design workshops are capped (limited to a restricted number of students): when the maximum number of students is reached, you will be able to choose only workshops that still have available seats.
How to choose Workshops I - II
In the home page of the Teaching portal, tab “MAIN” or “LA MIA DIDATTICA”, you will see the picture shown below:
When you click on “Visualizza elenco workshop”/"See the workshops list", the system will redirect you to a workshops table which illustrates available workshops and seats.
Select the Design workshop you are interested in:
After you have selected the workshop you are interested in, click the button "Continua"/ "Continue" if you wish to confirm your registration, or click on "Indietro"/"Back" to return to the list (see example in the figure below).
Considering that these workshops are not allocated to students on the basis of merit, you must pay attention to the Design workshop you choose. In fact, once you confirm you choice, you will no longer be able to modify it.
When to choose Workshops I - II
The list of the Design workshops will be published in the on-line Notice Board of each degree programme as soon as it becomes available.
The time frame of the workshops choice is usually set at least one week after the publication of the workshop list.
Details will be published in the on-line Notice Board of each degree programme.
