Taking the Final Examination for the Master’s degree
The Master’s Final Examination consists in the public oral defence of a thesis under the supervision of one or more faculty members (they do not necessarily need to pertain to your degree programme). Your thesis needs to prove that you have acquired specific competences.
Thesis composition rules and evaluation criteria are established by the Collegio of the degree programme. You can choose your thesis Supervisor (from Politecnico di Torino) and decide your thesis topic with him/her.
You are required to submit your thesis application online (Online services section– Thesis portlet) before the deadlines illustrated in the academic calendar.
You must complete the following online steps:
- submit your thesis application and get your thesis topic approved
- write your thesis
- submit your thesis conclusion confirmation and deposit your thesis files
- register for the Final Examination
- deposit the final version of your thesis (electronic format)
