Master's degree programme in
ARCHITECTURE CONSTRUCTION CITY (change programme)
Location: Torino
Class: ARCHITECTURE AND ARCHITECTURAL ENGINEERING
COMPULSORY COURSES - ALLOCATIONS
Compulsory Courses - Allocations for students enrolled up to a.y. 2020/21
Elective courses chosen from Specific Subjects (discipline caratterizzanti)
In order to achieve your Master’s degree you need to gain the credits of the 4 Specific Subjects that are included in your curriculum (see your Course programme).  As a general rule, you can gain these credits by taking:
  • 2 Design Units (one 14-credit Design Unit + one 20-credit Design Unit) and:
  • 2 regular courses (face-to-face classes).
In this case you must include in your Annual Personal Study Plan (APSP) the two Specific Subjects for which you have not gained any credits during your first-year Design Units. *
You must choose your specific subjects when you create your PSP/APSP.
Please note: since in the definition phase of the Personal Study Plan in the first year of the Master degree course the procedure still requires to indicate the two Specific Subjects not included in the Design Units, the latter assigned on the basis of the preferences expressed and a merit ranking, the initial choice of Courses related to the Specific Subjects could make the career plan initially defined no longer congruent. In this case it will be possible, during the definition of the PSP of the following academic year, to modify the indication of these courses.
Among the Specific Subjects offered by Politecnico there are several courses with the same scientific disciplinary field. If demands exceeds available seats on a course, Politecnico will use a merit-based criteria to readjust the number of students in each course. For this reason these course allocations are to be considered provisional until classes begin.
Elective courses chosen from Related Subjects (discipline affini o integrative)
If you want to attend a course of the Master's Degree Architecture construction city  which belongs to the group of Related Subjects (discipline affini o integrative), you must select and include it in your Personal study plan/Annual personal study plan during the phase of PSP/APSP creation. Students are not allocated these courses on the basis of a merit ranking list.
*If you gained the credits of two Design Units which have the same Specific Subject, you must gain the credits of the other three Specific Subjects that you still lack.
Compulsory Courses - Allocations for students enrolled in a.y. 2021/22
