ENGLISH LANGUAGE
Prospective students applying for a Master’s degree programme at Politecnico di Torino must have an English language certificate (CEFR – B2 level). This is an admission requirement. If you do not meet this admission requirement, you will not be able to enrol at Politecnico.

For information on your course requirements and academic progress (Personal Study Plan, credits, recognition of exam credits…) please contact the Office of Student Services through: 
the ticketing service, available from your personal page of the Teaching Portal (Ticket TAB)
the office front desk, open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 9.00 - 12.30; Wednesday 12.30 - 15.30.
Due to the Covid-19 emergency, you are not allowed to go to the Office of Student Services. Please send a ticket.
IMPORTANT: Due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, our office front desk is accessible by appointment (click the button "Go to the Booking Tool" on your personal page of the Teaching Portal - My academic progress TAB) or contact the Office using the Ticketing Support Service.

CERTIFICATE REGISTRATION
If you have a B2 level certificate (or above) included in the list of accepted certificates you must send a ticket to the Office of Student Services (Architecture) and provided the following information about your certificate.
You do not need to attach a scanned copy of your certificate to the ticket:
  • IELTS certificate: you must send a ticket with your TRF Number (you can find this number on your certificate or in the message you received by e-mail when the results were published)
  • CAMBRIDGE certificate: in your personal page of the Cambridge website you must select the option to share your results with Politecnico di Torino - see instructions at:
https://support.cambridgeenglish.org/hc/en-gb/articles/360021664771-Sending-your-results-to-a-recognising-organisation-Then, you must send us a ticket with your Candidate’s ID Number;  
  • TOEFL certificate: you must specify the code of Politecnico di Torino (unicode C285) when you register for the TOEFL exam;
If you are unable to provide the above-mentioned information, you must send a ticket to the Office of Student Services attaching your CAMBRIDGE certificate or its statement of results, or the scan copy of your TOEFL certificate (if you had not indicated the unicode before).

For all other English certificates, you must show your original certificate to the Office of Student Services. Your English language exam will be recorded in your transcript. The Office of Student Services will make a copy of your certificate and return the original back to you.  

Considering that it takes a long time to receive the original certificate from the examination board, we recommend you get your certificate well in advance of the deadlines.   
We remind you that English Language exams (graded or ungraded) taken at other universities are NOT accepted in substitution for the required English language certificate.
