If you want to apply for graduation you must meet the following requirements:
- you must have passed all the exams of your Personal Study Plan (*)
- you must have an IELTS certificate or a certificate accepted in substitution for IELTS and your certificate must have been recorded in your transcript (see table “Certificates accepted or exemptions in substitution for IELTS at Politecnico di Torino")
- your internship (if planned by the curriculum of your degree programme) must be recorded in your transcript (**);
- you must be regularly enrolled for the current academic year;
- the thesis module must be already included in your Annual Personal Study Plan;
- you must have paid all your tuition fees;
- you must not have any unreturned book borrowed from the library;
- you must not have a pending disciplinary sanction that imposes a temporary exclusion from Politecnico with restriction of further academic progress.
Before you register for the Final Examination, your supervisor must confirm that you have concluded your thesis (thesis conclusion confirmation). You are also required to fill out the online Almalaurea questionnaire, available at:
www.almalaurea.it.
Please be very careful when filling out the Almalaurea questionnaire: in the Course type field do not select "Master II level" but select "Laurea magistrale".
How to register for the Final Examination (online registration only):
- submit your application before the deadlines illustrated in the thematic calendar - Graduation Periods section;
- pay the amount displayed by the system at the end of the procedure, including outstanding debts and revenue stamps (Tuition Fee Guide a.y. 2023/24). If you register for the February Graduation Period, you are also required to pay the second instalment of your tuition fees. The same applies to the students who have enrolled for a.y. 2023/24 and are going to graduate in December;
- complete your registration by clicking the button "CONTINUE". Please note that paying the registration fee does not mean that you are registered for the Final Examination. You must complete the entire procedure.
At the end of this procedure, you will receive a registration confirmation message in your Polito mailbox.
You are allowed to register for the Final Examination with CONDITION (“Domanda con riserva”) even if there are some irregularities (for instance, if some of your exams have not been recorded in your transcript yet). If these problems are solved, the provisional condition will be lifted and the Office of Student Services will automatically register you for the Final Examination. Otherwise, your registration will be cancelled.
