WORKSHOP

The 2-credit workshops are offered in both first and second semester to all students of the Master's degree programmes in "Territorial and Urban Planning" and "Territorial, Urban and Landscape Planning".
If you are interested in one of these workshops, during the time frame for the creation of thr APSP/PSP, you must log in to your personal page of the Teaching Portal - "Online Services" tab - "Creating your PSP/APSP" portlet- click "accedi/go".
Select the workshop you are interested in.
Please note that after the deadline for the creation of the APSP/PSP you will NOT be allowed to change the workshops you have chosen.
For this reason, we reccomend you carefully read the syllabus of the workshop available in the course catalogue.

Time frame to select the workshops: from 11/07/2024 to 13/09/2024.
If the applications for a workshop exceed the number of places available, students will be chosen based on a merit ranking list. The merit ranking list will be built taking into account the exams passed by students until the end of the September 2024 Examination session.
If you are not admitted to a workshop because of your position on the ranking list, you may be offered a place in a non-saturared workshop.
In some cases, the teaching staff may prefer to select the participants by means of a specific call for applications. In these cases, you must apply and compete for the place (this specific admission procedure is indicated in the syllabus of each workshop).
The Coordinating Professor will evaluate the applications and  select the students who will participate in the workshop.
Please note: the "GIS, Let's (Re-) Start (Competenze informatiche/Digital Skills)" workshop is delivered in first semester in English and in second semester in Italian. If you choose the workshop offered in first semester, you will not be allowed to retake it in second semester (or vice versa) even in different academic years.
Calculation of the merit score:
The ranking list (if necessary) is calculated as follows:

(overall weighted Bachelor's average * 180) + (V1 * CFU1) + (V2 * CFU2) + (Vn * CFUn)
______________________________________________________________________________________        6 + Number of semesters from first enrolment in the Master's degree programme

The number 6 is referred to the minimum number of semesters required to earn the Bachelor's degree.
The number of semesters is calculated starting from the first enrolment in the Master's degree programme; the score is calculated taking into account only those exams that were recognized and validated by Politecnico di Torino.
