Master's degree programmes 2020 - 2021
(students with italian degree)
Transfers from other universities to politecnico
Admissions A.Y. 2020/21
If you are enrolled in a Master’s degree programme at another Italian University and you intend to transfer to a Master’s degree programme offered by Politecnico di Torino, you must submit your previous academic records for an evaluation through the  Apply@polito portal.
Your previous academic records will be assessed in order to verify if you meet the admission requirements of the Master’s degree programme.
We remind you that any English language exam (graded or ungraded) that you have passed while you were enrolled at another university IS NOT accepted by Politecnico in substitution for English certificate level B2 required.
You must wait until the outcome of the evaluation of your previous academic records to know if you meet the admission requirements of your chosen Master’s degree programme (see General admission requirements).
Please submit your transfer application at your university of origin only after receiving your offer of admission.
You are required to pay a fee of 100 euros. This amount will be deducted from your tuition fees if you enrol in the academic year for which you had submitted your application, but it will not be refunded under any circumstances.
If you who come from another university you must gain a minimum of 50 credits (excluding the thesis credits) at Politecnico di Torino in order to attain the Master’s degree.
The legislation on university studies prohibits the possibility to be simultaneously enrolled at more than one Italian or foreign university
PLEASE NOTE: you must consider whether to start the transfer procedure (congedo) at your university of origin or not.
This is suggested in case you have already passed some exams for which you intend to request the recognition from Politecnico di Torino. Otherwise, if you have not taken any exam yet, we suggest that you take into consideration the possibility to withdraw from studies (rinuncia agli studi). This would allow you to start a brand new academic career at Politecnico di Torino.
