Three written exams are foreseen during the course development.

Exam 1 concerns the following moduls: 
  • Tunnel design and construction method
  • Rock Mass Characterization. Geo investigations and risk assessment
  • Tunnel supports
  • Numerical design
Exam 2 concerns the following moduls:
  • General aspects of mechanized tunnelling and Hard Rock TBMs
  • Soil mechanics tunnelling
  • Plants and microtunneling
Exam 3 concerns the following moduls:
  • Contractual and legislative aspects, work sites management, quality
  • Safety and environmental issues of work sites
