Description A software-defined radio (SDR) system is a radio communication system which uses software for the modulation and demodulation of radio signals. An SDR performs significant amounts of signal processing in a general-purpose computer or a reconfigurable one.
The goal of this thesis is to exploit SDR to design is to transmit and receive signals protocol just by developing new software/firmware. The aim is to develop a methodology for using SDR in a magnetic measurement setup. The thesis will be done in collaboration with the Technical University of Munich.
