Description The thesis will be focused on the definition of AI routines dedicated to the fault detection, classification and eventually prognosis in the context of flight control actuators. The candidate will be tasked with performing a literature review on the subject and progressively define an AI algorithm able to interpretate and dialogue with pre-existing high-fidelity simulation models to pursue the objective of fault diagnosis without (only) relying on classical machine learning approaches.
