Description Objective of the thesis: to develop an attitude and orbit simulator for Earth observation satellites, able to support the analysis of mission data
Skills: advanced knowledge of the Matlab environment, knowledge of satellite navigation and control guidance systems, basic knowledge of python.
Planned activities:
- definition of the state of the art
- definition of simulator architecture and requirements
- development in Matlab/Simulink of the determination system
- development in Matlab/Simulink of the attitude and orbit control system
- integration of the simulator with scientific data (i.e. RADAR images)
- analysis of the performance of the developed system
- documentation of the activity (i.e. thesis writing)
Required skills advanced knowledge of the Matlab environment, knowledge of satellite navigation and control guidance systems, basic knowledge of python
