The thesis topic deals with the delicate transition between indoor and outdoor localization. In the two scenarios, in fact, the sensors and techniques used may be very different. We envisage to use a cloud-based communication network to facilitate the task. After a review of the state of the art, the student will be guided through the design and implementation of an original solution. Particularly promising solutions may be the subject of experimental tests.
Note Some activities may be conducted in collaboration with TIM (Telecom Italia)
