Thesis type MODELING AND SIMULATION

Description The proposed thesis consists in the development of control systems aimed at maximizing the energy extracted from centrally symmetrical multi-DoF Wave Energy Converter devices. In detail, the candidate will develop control strategies aimed at calculating optimal speed profiles and implementing the control action necessary to follow this profile. Furthermore, the candidate will build a benchmark against which to compare the control strategy developed, taking into account the peculiarities that this type of device possesses.
