Description The thesis focuses on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) dedicated to robotics. The student will start their thesis by a detailed study of the features of such AWS, such as RoboMaker. Then, they will implement a state-of-the-art control or planning algorithm for mobile robots in ROS and, subsequently, they will use AWS to deploy the planner on a real or virtual robot.
Required skills - basics of mobile robotics, sensors, path planning and control
- knowledge of ROS or ROS2
- knowledge of cloud services like AWS is not mandatory but it surely constitutes a great plus
