Description The thesis concerns the reliability analysis of a robotic device for space applications. The activity involves the analysis of the possible failure modes, caused by the expected environmental conditions or the impact with small celestial bodies, and the identification of methods for the possible reconfiguration of the degraded device. The thesis may include the study of non-traditional configurations in order to make the system redundant and therefore resistant to damage
