Description The thesis activity consists in the study and modeling of a fundamental component of strain wave gears, which consists of a flexible elliptical bearing connected to the input motor shaft. This component is responsible for the internal deformation of the flexspline for the correct meshing and speed reduction of the component. The candidate will develop the proposed activity starting from a pre-existing model of the strain wave gear reducer, developed in MATLAB/Simulink environment.
