Description The thesis aims to develop a framework for planning drone flight operations in populated environments. This project includes several activities (to be carried out in multiple thesis projects) including:
- development of a web-app for drone operators who need to plan the flight operation;
- development of a library in Python/C++ which includes risk assessment and planning algorithms;
- use of Artificial Intelligence techniques for the estimation of parameters necessary for mission planning;
The goal is to create a complete tool that can help drone operators carry out risk assessment and plan the flight operation.
The project is carried out in collaboration with the MAVTech company (https://www.mavtech.eu).
Required skills Knowledge of C++ and/or Python programming languages
Experience in developing Web-Apps
