Thesis type MODELING AND DATA ANALYSIS
Description How future mobility may be articulated in Europe, scenario analysis and technological penetration within the different market segments of the vehicle fleet, considering traditional vehicles (diesel, gasoline) and alternative vehicles (electric, hydrogen, CNG, etc.). Some constraints and boundary conditions will have to be considered, e.g., one may focus on a single country based on current mobility and proceed step by step to multiple scenarios. The goal is to try to highlight the technological points of interest and critical points, on which to focus to comply with a new mobility, but always remembering the realistic constraints. For example, the presence or absence of a distribution network, appropriate regulations, etc.
To make the subject economic comparison, the total cost of ownership (TCO) of each vehicle considered can be calculated. This type of analysis is widely used in economic studies referring to vehicles, as it is considered an easy way to summarize many parameters into one final result, with the possibility of comparing different types of vehicles.
It is also possible, if the work turns out to be of good quality, to write a scientific publication.
