Thesis type EXPERIMENTAL AND MODELING

Description The aim of the thesis is the mechanical design of a robotic device for the application of controlled disturbances in balance analysis.
The purpose of the device is to impart to the patient's body a known and repeatable impulsive force, ensuring flexibility in the choice of the application point and the stiffness necessary to optimize the applied disturbance.
Starting from a semi-automatic prototype, which is already available, it will be necessary to:
- identify the architecture of the automatic mechatronic device;
- design the device complete with assembly and support elements;
- follow the development and implementation of the assembled system and control.

Required skills Basic knowledge of: CAD modeling, FEA, automation, MATLAB-Simulink.
