Description Modern multi-processor system on a Chip (MPSoC) represents the future computing platform for a wide range of applications including safety critical such as Aerospace applications.
The Zynq MPSoC provides multiple processing units, including four ARM A53 cores and two ARM R5 peripherals. The goal of the present thesis is the study of design strategies resilient to errors affecting aerospace applications and based on the isolation methods, a design approach oriented on the separations of computing cores and memories. The activity will be performed in cooperation with the European Space Agency (ESA). The thesis will be performed within the http://asaclab.polito.it/ and it will be supported by a scholarship.
