Description Context
Systems Engineering is a multidisciplinary process that involves the design, development, and verification of a space system as an integrated system capable of fulfilling the objectives of a mission within defined technical and programmatic constraints.
In the rapidly evolving space industry, effective collaboration and efficient systems engineering tools are essential to meet mission objectives and ensure successful project delivery.
Valispace: browser-based software that enables engineers to collaboratively develop satellites, rockets and other complex hardware
Objectives
To develop a SmallSat simulator within the Valispace environment.
The entire process will be documented, and a user manual will be created to ensure the simulator's long-term use.
To explore the integration of the Valispace environment with the Matlab/Simulink and SolidWorks environments.
Main Tasks:
The simulator will have to model both the system level and the subsystems level (e.g. ADCS, EPS, CommSys, TCS, payload, etc), up to the component level, including operatives’ modes and different design options available.
Validation will occur through a CubeSat mission design implementation.
Duration: 9 months
