Description The rise of Industry 5.0 has brought a new wave of technological advancements, with an emphasis on human-centric and collaborative robotics. Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) are increasingly being integrated into smart factories, where seamless human-robot interaction plays a crucial role in improving productivity, safety, and adaptability. The project will explore how voice commands can be used to enhance the interaction between humans and robots in industrial environments, allowing operators to control, monitor, and communicate with the robot in real-time without physical contact. By leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) techniques, this voice interface will be integrated into an existing AMR system.
Required skills • Proficiency in developing speech recognition systems or customise existing ones.
• Knowledge of AMRs, their operating systems, and control algorithms.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python for implementing control systems and interfacing with robotic hardware.
• Understanding of AI and ML techniques to enhance voice interaction with robots.
