Descrizione Motivation:
Trusted Platform Module (TPM) is the general name of implementations of a cryptoprocessor, often called the "TPM chip" or "TPM Security Device", used to assure the integrity of a platform. In the last year the integrity of electronic devices has become one of the most critical aspect. Thus, an efficient prototyping of this device is mandatory for achieving high dependability.
FPGA devices can provide the required flexibility for this prototyping task.

Goals:
The thesis aims at the development of an FPGA-based Trusted Platform Module.
The system has to implement all the functionalities required by TPM specifications v1.2. Some examples of these functionalities are the secure generation of cryptographic keys, random number generators, and other capabilities such as remote attestation, binding and sealed storage.

Learning Outcomes:
During this thesis the candidate will learn: advanced encryption concepts, how to prototype high-complex systems on FPGA devices and manage different kind of encryption protocols.
