Description The thesis aims at the fabrication of sensors for pollutants through wet-chemistry synthesis. The senosr devices are realized through nanostructuring of gold surfaces and are used as substrates for optical analysis to detect the presence of chemical products with very low concentrations (below part-per-bilion).
