Description Biogas is a valuable fuel for energy generators (such as SOFCs) as long as it is clean and trace compounds removed.
A plausible and economic solution should be the integration between the organic substrates, for the biogas production and their recovery as a cleaning material. This is only one of the feasible solution for the gas cleaning step. Lower cost materials with traditional and innovative solutions are exploited in order to find a plausible and technical solution for gas cleaning. A life cycle assessment will be developed.
