Thesis type SPERIMENTALE APPLICATA
Description In a recent theoretical study Jacobs et al. [Adv.Energ.Mater. 8 (2018) p1.702708] have screened a total of 2145 possible perovskite phases using the appropriate modelling software to predict the most promising ones in terms of properties and performance as a cathode material in Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFCs). The 3 most promising phases identified were Ba0.75Sr0.25Fe0.875Ga0.125O3, BaFe0.125Co0.125Zr0.75O3, and Ba0.5La0.125Zn0.375NiO3.
Required skills materials engineering, cathodes for SOFCs
