The possession of the IELTS English language certificate with a minimum score of 5.5, or equivalent or higher certificate, is an “admission requirement” for entry into this Master’s degree programme.

This means that you need to have the required English language certificate upon enrolment, transfer out or internal transfer to this Master’s degree programme.
If you do not satisfy this admission requirement, you will not be able to enrol in the programme or transfer to it.

If, upon enrolment, you had self-declared the possession of the IELTS 5.0 certificate or any other certification at equivalent/higher level, you must show the original certificate to the Office of Student Services on the day of the appointment day for the delivery your Smart card. The Office of Student Services will make a copy of your certificate and return the original back to you. The English language certificate will be recorded together with your personal details.

If you are enrolled in a Master’s degree programme, you can register for the language examination in order to obtain the IELTS certificate. You will have to pay the exam registration fee in all cases, regardless of the fact that you might already hold an external certificate or you might benefit from fee reduction. The exam registration fee shall be paid whether you have an academic career obligation or not.
Any student who is regularly enrolled at Politecnico di Torino can request to register again for the English examination in order to obtain the English certificate by paying the registration fee of 120,00 Euro (this amount will be deducted from the fees personal profile).
