COMAU

Comau has chosen to join this partnership recognizing in Additive Manufacturing those elements of  Technology and Innovation which are important values for the Company. The participation of dedicated staff, who will develop  highly specialized know-how through the Additive Manufacturing Master’s program, represents an investment in skills designed to explore how additive technology  could be applied to existing Comau operations. In particular, the analysis will be focused on how this innovation can be applied  to developing  the  devices and  products Comau produces, starting from Design and Modelling activities; what product design and process engineering skills  will be required  to make the most of its potential and  the potential advantages of Additive Manufacturing, compared to conventional techniques, in terms of flexibility, production volumes, timing and costs.
