The 2nd level Specializing Master's Programme in Automotive Suspensions: Technologies and Products for Mechanical evolution and Smart Actuation is a post-graduate Programme offered by Politecnico di Torino in partnership with Magneti Marelli.
The goal of the Programme is to give multidisciplinary knowledge and competence on Suspension Systems to students with different background in order to prepare the next generation of engineers for the future challenging products in automotive field.
The motto is: “The suspension - from nut to microprocessor”.
The Programme will cover many technological topics related to suspension architectures and chassis design, products and functions ranging from mechanical design, manufacturing processes and technological aspects up to electronic systems, control units, control strategies, smart actuators for active/semi-active suspensions. The Programme will include also a deep dive into energy management aspects at suspension and vehicle level. Trainings about Quality, Organization and Program Management will help the student to be involved into the company structure and activities during the internship.
The aim is to form a professional profile who has the skills, broadband needed to cover different core position in the company. The entry roles are in the Magneti Marelli Business Units/Function of Product development at system level and Testing. Also the positions are in the area of R&D and Testing.
