The 1st edition of the 2nd level Specializing Master’s programme in "Electrified, cooperative and automated construction machines for climate neutral fleets" is offered by Politecnico di Torino in collaboration with CNH INDUSTRIAL ITALIA S.P.A. (CNHI)   and its CASE Construction Equipment brand for the academic year 2022/2023.
The programme aims to hire with a permanent contract young graduates and provide training to develop new skills for:
a) the use and management of innovative technologies in the industrial vehicle sector, with particular reference to the electrification of the traction system and solutions for autonomous driving;
b) the integration of these technologies on industrial vehicles;
c) the application of innovative ICT technologies to the logistics of the construction sector.
The programme benefits from CNHI experience in this sector with many projects realized. As a consequence, the programme offers its participants a unique opportunity to get involved in high-level projects under CNHI’s experts guidance.
CNHI undertake to hire all the admitted applicants starting from the beginning of the programme and to sponsor the participation to the Specializing Master’s programme of those who accept the job-offer.
During this initiative, the participants will have an exclusive opportunity to "rotate" on different jobs within Product Development department in order to maximize the development of critical skills (technical, soft skills and cross with data analytics, project management, leadership… training) in multiple areas of expertise. The programme includes a period of rotation abroad in one of CNH Industrial's sites in North and South America.
The Departments of Energy (DENERG), Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (DIMEAS), Electronics and Telecommunications (DET), and Control and Computer Engineerin (DAUIN) are the main Politecnico di Torino departments that will contribute to the implementation of this master's programme. The inter-departmental centers CARS@polito (Center for Automotive Research and Sustainable mobility, http://www.cars.polito.it/it), PEIC (Power Electronics Innovation Center, http://www.peic.polito.it/it/) and SmartData@Polito (Big Data and Data Science Laboratory, https://smartdata.polito.it/) are also involved in this master's programme, as the innovation environments where breakthrough research and cross-disciplinary and cross-sectorial education are developed and technological transfer is fostered.
