Descrizione We are looking for a thesis student in the field of components engineering equipment.
Our department is the Innovation Management in Hamburg. We are developing new technologies and optimize process established in our company already. This thesis will support the development of a robotic procedure to automate the maintenance tasks on these components. A key technology in this topic will be computer vision that will be further developed by the thesis.
Among your duties there will be:
• Further development of the robot program for automatic adjustments
• Further development of computer vision
• Support the team in developing all the required communication protocols
• Support the team in deploy all the mentioned solutions in production
The thesis provides insights into general Lufthansa Technik processes, as well as the air-related and economical aspects of the maintenance procedures of aerospace equipment. By supporting and assisting with various engineering and production topics, it is a hands-on experience in a leading MRO company in the aerospace sector. The expected total duration is 9 months in the Lufthansa Technik facility in Hamburg.
