The Equality Committee (Comitato Unico di Garanzia – CUG) is a parity committee that supports all groups at Politecnico di Torino: faculty members, administrative staff members, research fellows and students. The duration of its mandate is determined by the Statute (art. 17, paragraph 3). The function of the Committee is to promote equal opportunities of work and study for all. The Committee has one student representative, selected from among the representatives of the Academic Senate and the Board of Directors. The composition of the Equality Committee is set out in article 17, paragraph 2 of the Statute: the CUG current President is Cristina Coscia and the Vice-President is Paola Vigliani.
