The admitted candidates included in the above mentioned list in order to confirm their participation must take the following steps by June 21st 2017 (at 11:59 a.m. italian time):
  1. download the "Participation Acceptance Declaration Form" (click here to download), fill it in, sign it and send it by e-mail to master.universitari@polito.it  along with:
    - the receipt of the dispatch by express courier of the original documents (see point 2)

  2. send to the Politecnico di Torino the original of the documentation attached to the online application form by express delivery (i.e. DHL). For a list of the original documentation required, please check carefully the "required documents" page.

Please make sure that you do not have to send us the original of the diploma degree but only the original of the corresponding official transcript, as the diploma will be required by the Italian Diplomatic Mission for the "dichiarazione di valore" (statement of validity) issuing.
The Politecnico di Torino must receive the requested documents by July 7th 2017 to the following address:
Politecnico di Torino - Ufficio Protocollo
Specializing Masters in Petroleum engineering and operations
Corso Duca degli Abruzzi, 24 10129 Torino - ITALY

  3. pay an advance fee of 1.000,00 €. In order to accomplish it, please access to http://apply.polito.it/ with your credentials (username and password), go to the section “enrolment” and follow the instructions.
    - If you have a foreign bank account you have to proceed with “credit card” option;
    - If you have an Italian bank account you can proceed by choosing both options “credit card” or “MAV”.

This advanced payment is necessary for receiving the admission letter, which is required by the Italian Diplomatic Mission to issue the VISA for study purposes.
This amount will be deducted from the first instalment payment at the moment of your enrolment.
The 1.000,00 € amount will be refunded in case of failure of VISA issuing by the Italian Diplomatic Mission or in case that the programme will not be activated because the minimum number of the students required will not be reached.
The amount will be retained by the Politecnico di Torino in all the other cases.
All information about enrollment, Visa etc will be sent by e-mail to all admitted candidates

In case that one or more candidates will not confirm their participation within the given deadline, they will not have the possibility to participate in the program.

Politecnico di Torino will be able to send corresponding letters for obtaining the student VISA to all admitted non-EU candidates after their confirmation (June 21st 2017).
Further Politecnico di Torino will formally send the list of selected candidates to the Italian embassies and consulates in order to enable them to go ahead with the application process for the VISA issuing.

All admitted candidates who hold a degree from a non-Italian University, upon enrolment shall submit the so called “Dichiarazione di valore” (statement of validity), issued by the Italian Diplomatic Mission in the country where the qualification was awarded. If your degree was conferred by a European university, you can turn in the “Diploma Supplement” instead of the “Dichiarazione di Valore”.
The Dichiarazione di valore will be kept by the Politecnico and will be returned to the student upon the conclusion of the programme. If necessary, it can be given back to the student for a short period of time, with the prior deposit of a certified copy of the document.
If the student runs into considerable difficulties regarding the dichiarazione di valore, he/she must communicate such difficulties as soon as they arise to the Office of Specializing Masters Programmes and Lifelong Learning (master.universitari@polito.it), specifying the problem and the contact telephone numbers and e-mail of the Italian Diplomatic Mission. The office will contact the relevant Italian Diplomatic Mission in order to try and speed up the process to release the required document.
Those who arrive in Italy without the dichiarazione di valore and without having previously communicated the situation to the Office of Specializing Masters Programmes and Lifelong Learning will not be able to enrol at Politecnico di Torino.

The course will only start if the minimum number of participants required can be realized.
