Registering the language exam
Students who have stated the possession of a certificate IELTS 5.0 or equivalent or superior while enrolling on-line and who present a copy of this certificate completing the enrolment, will have their exam registered by the first exam session (usually January/February): further requests are not needed.
The English language exam taken at Politecnico is registered automatically when passed, no further procedure is needed.
Students who have already a certificate IELTS 5.0 or equivalent or superior (Substitution for IELTS 5.0 and Substitution for IELTS 5.5), obtained outside Politecnico, have to proceed with the registration presenting the certificate to the Registrar’s Office (Segreteria Didattica).

Students who have a certificate not included in the tables of approved certificates can address to the Registrar’s Office that will have the CLA evaluate them.

Students in possess of foreign language certificates (other than English), obtained outside Politecnico, can proceed with the registration of the exam (if present in their study plan) presenting the certificate to the Registrar’s Office (see table “French, Spanish and German certificates”, published on the CLA website

We specify that for all Master of Science students the English Language exam is considered a prerequisite and not a curricular obligation; therefore, the registration will be done only in the personal data.
